Meet the new kids on the street

Wednesday, November 14th, 2007

We were surprised to see new furry friends in our neighbor’s yard yesterday! They are some of the shiniest cows and look so soft.

As the deer…

a buck in the field
As the deer panteth after the water brooks, (and hungers after every green and flowering thing in our yard!) so panteth my soul after Thee, O God. Psalm 42:1

We saw this beautiful buck out the dining room window this morning. It made us think of the verse above- how we are to thirst and long for Christ and seek to be satisfied by Him alone.

Picnic at Sonrise Ranch

Monday, October 22nd, 2007

This past Saturday, our family drove out near Hondo for John and Lynette’s Sunday School class picnic. We enjoyed fun fellowship with other families, croquet, horseshoes, shooting tin cans and clay pigeons, a hayride, and s’mores!
