Thirty-First Anniversary Celebration

Sunday, July 20th, 2008

John and Lynette celebrated their anniversary in a Bed & Breakfast located in San Antonio’s historic King William District.

Anniversary getaway
We enjoyed staying at the Beckmann Inn and Carriage House, built in 1886. A brick, Queen Anne cottage.

anniversary smiles
We are blessed by the faithful and loving example of our parents. Yesterday they celebrated their 31st wedding anniversary – praise the Lord for His goodness! We pray God continues to shower His blessings upon them and give them many more years together as husband and wife.

Granddad
Lynette’s father, Bill, passed away on June 29th after experiencing complications from his surgery in early June. We traveled to Houston last week to remember his life. It was a meaningful and precious time with family.

we will miss our father/granddad, and are grateful for the joy and love he brought to us.
Yea, though I walk through the the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for Thou art with me… Only goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. ~Psalm 23
