Outing to Fredericksburg!
To celebrate and relax after a very stressful tax season, we took an afternoon trip to Fredericksburg. Our first stop was at the Wildseed Farms in the beautiful Texas hill country. We know this post is longer than usual, but we hope you enjoy all the pictures. We had a wonderful time out in God’s glorious creation!

The Wildseed Farms Country Store

we had fun looking at all the flowers and plants in the nursery

they have meadows full of happy poppies

and meadows full of colorful larkspurs

Dad was excited to discover an Aggie bluebonnet!
Gig ‘em!

here’s Mom in a meadow of poppies

they have row upon row of wildflowers

can you tell it was very windy?!

Dad is feeling good in the brisk, sunny weather!

part of our tour was in the Butterfly Haus

they have an average of 250 live butterflies in this exhibit

resting after a long tax season

the story behind the Passion flower

We also made a stop at Marburger Orchard

not only do they have acres and acres of peaches, but also a whole acre of strawberries!

Wow! You all have been up to a lot in the last two weeks! I just got back from 2 weeks in CO, so it’s time to catch up with the Lavins.
I’m so glad you’ve gotten to do some things to help you all unwind! On to the next post.
Love, Cailan
