After tax season getaway

Monday, April 28th, 2008

Last week, John and Lynette drove up to Marble Falls for a short time away together. Their room overlooked beautiful Lake LBJ and they enjoyed sight-seeing – Buchanan Dam, Inks Lake, and Horseshoe Bay.

Outing to Fredericksburg!

Thursday, April 17th, 2008

To celebrate and relax after a very stressful tax season, we took an afternoon trip to Fredericksburg. Our first stop was at the Wildseed Farms in the beautiful Texas hill country. We know this post is longer than usual, but we hope you enjoy all the pictures. We had a wonderful time out in God’s glorious creation!

April in Bulverde

Tuesday, April 15th, 2008

Contrary to what some of our friends think, we are not always having a party or “playing” – we work too! :) However, we do celebrate the fact that today is April 15th and that John is finally finished with tax season! Stay tuned for more pics of this special event in the Lavin family. God has been so good to see Dad through this busy time.
