Thanksgiving pictures
Well, we know Thanksgiving has come and gone and that we are a bit behind on posting pictures! We had a lovely Thanksgiving day with John’s side of the family. Everyone pitched in to help make a delicious dinner and yummy desserts. We are thankful for God’s many blessings – for Jesus Christ, for family, for fun times…

this year’s pies included pumpkin, pecan, and apple. What more could one want? Maybe just some whipped topping and ice cream!
I AM THANKFUL FOR:
T – TIME For the time God has given us here on earth. Ps 31:14-15: “You are my God. My times are in Your hand.”
H – HEALTH For the good health God has given me. 3 John 2: “I pray that you may prosper in all things, and be in health, just as your soul prospers.”
A – AFFLICTIONS Whereby we show our dependence on God, grow in His grace, and learn patience in the midst of trial. James 1:2-3: “Count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience.”
N – NATURE For the beauty of the earth for us to enjoy, and for natural resources which we need to live by. Ps 19:1-6: “The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament shows His handiwork.
K – KNOWLEDGE God is the source of all knowledge, which is needed to make wise decisions. Proverbs 1:7: “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction.”
S – SAVIOR I am most thankful that God loved me so much that He gave me a Savior, who died for my sins, so that I would have eternal life and purpose in my life on earth. John 3:16: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”
