Interior Decorating Class
Saturday, June 30th, 2007Jennifer and Jaimee recently took a two week interior decorating class at the Dallas Ministry Center. They had classes on interior decorating principles; special outings to reinforce instruction; and “hands on” sessions throughout the two weeks for practical application. It was an enjoyable time of learning, sewing, sight-seeing, and making new friends.

In Southlake for an outing. Our class- Jaimee, Johanna, Kristin (instructor), Tiffany, Jennifer

The Dallas Ministry Ministry Center held a special Father-Daughter banquet while we were there. It was fun to help with the preparations.

dishing up plates for the banquet

having way too many laughs with our friends Vanessa and Janille

After a long and hot day, Claudia brought us popsicles!

It was special to meet several from Quebec who were serving there for the summer. Elisa is a cheerful sweet girl, and is doing great learning English. We had just enjoyed a good laugh over her frequently-used phrase “I don’t know!”

Up late one night going through magazines. Each of us had to present a board with cut-outs and plans for a room. A fun job!

Blackouts, sheers, and cornice boards are done! Now to hang them…
