Sunday evening we had a family outing, seeing the newly opened Bass Pro Shops in San Antonio. It’s huge and is every hunter’s dream world!

This past Saturday evening, our family enjoyed a visit to Doris and Jerry’s home. Doris has “adopted” Jaimee, and she sees her each week at water therapy. She and Jerry treated us to a magnificent feast of authentic German food. It was delicious! Thank you for all your hard work, Doris! Es war sehr gut!

Jennifer and Jaimee had a lot of fun giving a Mother’s Calligraphy Class. Three ladies joined us to learn Italic letters, flourishing, and more. It was a special time.

October 30th was Jaimee’s birthday! She is no longer one and twenty.

A birthday tradition in our family is to have a special birthday breakfast out with Dad. He took Jaimee to la Madeleine for her morning treat.

Mom and Jaimee’s special creation – a wonderful cherry pie! Perfect with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

This past weekend John’s good friend from high school, and his wife, came for a visit.

We made sure the restaurant knew Jaimee’s birthday was right around the corner. They brought her out a large piece of moist, dark chocolate cake! We all enjoyed a bite.
