Hay there!

Saturday, May 27th, 2006

The hay appeareth...
Proverbs 27:25, “The hay appeareth, and the tender grass showeth itself, and the herbs of the mountains are gathered.”
This week brought the first cutting and baling of our field for the year. It is special to see God’s beauty in His creation as we look out onto the freshly cut grass. We are grateful for the farmer who comes and cuts it for us! (saves us about ten hours on our riding lawnmower!)

Piano Recital

Saturday, May 20th, 2006

Jennifer's piano students
Thursday evening, Jennifer and 13 of her students had their spring piano recital (two of her boys had to be out of town). It was a blessed time… with fun songs, classical pieces, and several duets. Jennifer is excited and grateful for each and every student the Lord has allowed her to teach this semester.

ATI Family Conference

May 1-5 found us in Big Sandy, Texas, for the ATI family conference. It was one of the most inspiring and rewarding conferences that we have ever attended. God’s timing was perfect with the speakers and the messages they presented.
