John and Lynette, along with 43 other couples, were blessed to be able to attend a couples’ Christmas conference in Dallas, December 2-4. They enjoyed hearing Pastor Gary Fraley speak on the “gift of you,” meeting his wife Loretta, and visiting with old and new friends. It was a wonderful time to begin the Christmas season, and to hear how we as a husband and wife can reflect the image of God to the world through our marriage.

Last Saturday night found our family in Boerne, a quaint nearby town, for their “Dickens on Main.” It was enjoyable to listen to a children’s choir sing Christmas carols, browse the antique stores, drink hot chocolate, and see children play in the soap flakes (Texas snowflakes). We met up with some friends, too:
